Hair Salon
The Mill Salon
A salon that needed online booking to stop living in a DM inbox.
Project concept — designed to show an approach, not a delivered client project
The problem
Booking happened through phone tag and social media messages. New clients had no easy way to see services, pricing, or availability, and the salon was losing them to places that made it simple.
What a site like this needs to do
- List services and prices in plain language
- Put a booking button within reach on every screen
- Show real work in a way that matches the salon's style
- Cut down the number of booking questions the front desk fields
The approach
A salon’s website has one main job: turn interest into a booked appointment without a staff member having to be involved. The old setup did the opposite. Clients messaged on social media, waited for a reply, went back and forth on times, and some of them gave up.
The concept makes the path obvious. Services and prices are laid out in clear language so there are no surprises. A booking button is always within reach, connected to the salon’s existing scheduling tool. A portfolio section shows recent work, art-directed to feel like the salon rather than a generic grid.
The goal is fewer interruptions for the team and a smoother experience for the client.
